• Government ID (for FIR filing and verification)

• Real-time GPS location (only when App is active or during SOS events)
• Background location (only during active safety monitoring with explicit consent)
• Trip routes and geofence boundaries you configure

2.3 Device Information

• Device model, operating system, and version
• Unique device identifiers and push notification tokens
• Accelerometer and motion sensor data (for accident detection)

2.4 Usage Data

• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• SOS event data, evidence recordings, and incident reports
• Training and bootcamp participation records

3. How We Use Your Information

• Safety services: SOS alerts, emergency escalation, live location sharing, accident detection
• Communication: Push notifications, SMS alerts to emergency contacts

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Emergency contacts: During SOS events (location, audio, video as configured)
• Law enforcement: Only when legally required or during active emergency escalation
• Service providers: Firebase (Google), Razorpay, and cloud infrastructure partners under strict data processing agreements
• Safety agents: Verified responders who assist during emergencies

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption for sensitive data, TLS 1.3 for data in transit, Firebase security rules for access control, and encrypted evidence storage. Biometric authentication and duress PINs provide additional layers of protection.

6. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• SOS and evidence data: Retained for 1 year for legal purposes
• Location history: Retained for 90 days, then automatically purged
• Analytics data: Anonymized and retained for 2 years

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access and download your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority

8. Children's Privacy

SudarshanShield is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
