1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SudarshanShield mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Service Description

SudarshanShield is a comprehensive women's safety application that provides emergency SOS services, location sharing, ride monitoring, community safety reporting, self-defense training, and other safety-related features. The App is designed to enhance personal safety but does NOT guarantee prevention of any harm or criminal activity.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per person; multiple accounts are not permitted

4. Subscription Plans

SudarshanShield offers the following subscription plans. All paid plans grant identical access to every safety feature — only the duration and effective price differ:

• Monthly — ₹599 / 30 days
• 6 Months — ₹2,999 / 180 days (saves ₹595 vs monthly)
• Annual — ₹4,999 / 365 days (saves ₹2,189 vs monthly)

Each plan includes: unlimited SOS alerts, live family tracking, speed monitoring, ride snapshot, FIR report generation, safety training modules, crisis drill simulations and full alert history.

Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment gateways (currently Razorpay and Cashfree). You may pay one-time per term, or opt in to AutoPay at checkout to authorise a UPI AutoPay / eMandate that renews your plan automatically at the end of each term. You may cancel AutoPay at any time from the subscription screen at least 24 hours before the next renewal to stop further charges. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.

5. User Responsibilities

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Do NOT misuse emergency features (false SOS alerts, fake reports)
• Do NOT harass, threaten, or harm other users through the App
• Do NOT reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Do NOT share your account or emergency features access with unauthorized persons
• Ensure your emergency contacts have consented to receiving alerts

6. Emergency Services Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SudarshanShield is NOT a replacement for emergency services (police, ambulance, fire). In case of immediate danger, always call local emergency numbers first (100, 112, 1091 in India). The App supplements but does not replace official emergency response systems. We are not liable for any failure in network connectivity, GPS accuracy, or response times of emergency contacts or agents.

7. Evidence and Recordings

Audio, video, and photographic evidence captured through the App during SOS events is encrypted and stored securely. This evidence may be shared with law enforcement authorities when legally required or when you authorize such sharing. You retain ownership of all evidence you capture.

8. Agent and Responder Network

Safety agents are verified individuals who volunteer or are employed to respond to emergencies. While we conduct background verification, we cannot guarantee the conduct of any agent. Agent ratings and feedback mechanisms are provided to maintain service quality.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SudarshanShield and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software) are owned by SudarshanShield and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse emergency features, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
